Purpose:
In 2008, a class was developed for mothers and daughters to help them create a more loving body image for one another. This four week class combines fitness in the form of circuit training, yoga, belly dancing, and kick-boxing in addition to creative arts and communication techniques. It helps young girls love their bodies while giving them tools to develop a vocabulary and awareness of how to express self-respect. Mom’s participate to encourage a modeling role of what it means to treat their bodies and minds with positive words and actions. Through this class, Mom’s get the chance to talk candidly to their daughters about their own experience while gaining support and a time to bond with other mom’s and daughters. During the class there is always a creative arts time with discussion to make sure the message of confidence and love is developed.

Tween2queen needs your help! Here is where you come in: this new class will soon be expanding to reach out to more mothers and daughters in addition to future instructors. We will be sending out memos and printing business cards. We need an identity to go with our name: Tween2Queen needs a logo.

Objective:
To create a logo for Tween2Queen (and get a chance to win a free iPod, be creative, and earn some rock star status in the process).

General Info:

Submissions of qualifying nature will be reviewed by the Tween2Queen board of directors. Creativity, originality, aesthetics, and use of space and color will all be used to measure the logo’s merit. Contest is open to individuals only. No more than 3 entries per individual. There is no fee to enter the contest.

Logo Guideline:
Logos should include the phrase “Tween2Queen” somewhere in or around the design.
Submissions:

This contest is void where prohibited. The winning entry will become the sole property of Restoration Fitness, LLC. All entries may be displayed publicly on the tween2queen web site. Entries must be received by midnight January 15th, 2010. Any prizes awarded will be at the sole discretion of Restoration Fitness, LLC and the Tween2Queen board of directors. All entrants will be recognized on the Tween2Queen website.

The entry must be your original design, and not a copy that may be subject to copyright laws.

Awards: Winner will be notified of award on 2/20/2010 and will receive awards within 30 days.
